The Aligned as Designed Cane is the first cane to focus on postural stability and improved body alignment to give you better posture, balance and stability with every step.
The Aligned as Designed Cane was invented by Linda Smith Swerdlow after the frustrations she experienced with using traditional mobility aids. By angeling the shaft and providing a generous supportive foot, this patented cane helps the user maintain or regain a natural, upright posture and a normal walking gait.
"The biggest challenge we had in making the cane for mass production was in capturing the unique geometries and dynamics of the foot in a form that can be easily molded for mass production," says Henning Zieger of Henning Product Development. "Our experience in design, engineering and manufacturing allows for the stability and structural integrity this product requires while making it affordable for the mass market."
